Ooopsy

We all have our noob moments in life. It happens to all of us. Shz happens. I even made a post about titled Noob Moment in NLD. I do believe that mistake is only a mistake if one can not learn from it, otherwise it’s a lesson in life. However, there are some mistakes that is just too damn funny or embarrassing that finds its way to the net.
The most popular website to host all these moments is the infamous www.failblog.org. They have a plethora of unfathomable events. Another site I found in my bookmark is www.micom.net/oops/.
Some of the funny one from Failblog.org is Definition Fail, Spiderman Comic Fail and Cleaning Fail to name a few. There are tons if you search for it on Youtube but this one I laughed at it for days!

Let it be

Here is a quicky post and easy song to learn on your uke. It’s Let It Be by the Beatles. I have a personal attachment to this song. Every time I hear this song it reminds me of my turbulent rebellious teenage eras in Korea. My mom introduced me to the Beatles at a young age, and this one of the few songs that always helped me sooth my boiling blood at that time.
Hope you enjoy my working version ukulele tab for Let It Be by the Beatles. All the original sources are listed in the text file.

Trinkets and devices
When I used to play World of Warcraft getting new gear was always exciting. Most people got excited over weapons and armors, but my favorite items to get was trinkets. To name of a few, some of my all time favorites trinkets are…
The Lightning Capacitor
Pendulum of Telluric Currents
Barov Peasant Caller
And that mini-love doesn’t end in WoW. I love those small little plush dolls and key chains, generally the stuff from Japan and Korea tends to be “the most awesomest!” (like much better!). Recently I saw Aldrine Guerrero (from www.ukuleleunderground) playing an uke and noticed he had a small plush doll hanging on his uke and *Flash!*
I found some sites that quench my trinket needs.
www.strapya-world.com (for small little key chains and plush dolls)
www.audiocubes.com (for digital needs)
www.thinkgeek.com (for digital needs)
www.uncommongoods.com (the name says it all)
I’ve always enjoyed a product that combines function and form. When I go to BestBuy or CompUSA (which is gone now) all there hubs and devices looked too “serious” and due to its generic look poor things always get stuff in the back or below the desk. There doesn’t seems to be an appreciation for these devices that enhances our lifestyle. Or I there will be things that’s just pure form which naturally faces the same fate as the pure function things. But Japanese and Korean devices always seems to find a middle ground within function and form.
Well I posted some of my trinkets and devices which I enjoy. ^^

Patch 3.1

World of Warcraft patch 3.1 has been out for close to 24 hours. Dual spec, Ulduar and much more. The story line of the Ulduar sounds fascinating! The old titans and its locked secrets. All these lore of the Titans, creation of Azeroth, and the story line of the disc from Uldaman (which takes you to Tanaris) always reminded me of Sitchin’s theory of mankind Also fascinating to read as well.
The I hope you guys at NLD get some phat loot! For the HORDE!! And take some screen shots so I can update the website.
Here is a link to the official patch 3.1 trailer.
Best + Aloha,
